2018 CONTRACT FIGHT
After months of delegations, EDR rallies, a major strike vote at Thomas & Mack, and setting up Strike HQ, Tentative agreements have been reached with MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment properties. YES WE DID!
Contracts have expired 6/1, but negotiations continue for: Four Seasons, SLS, Stratosphere, Treasure Island, Tropicana, Westgate, Binion’s, Downtown Grand, El Cortez, Four Queens, Fremont, Golden Gate, Golden Nugget, Main Street, The D, and The Plaza.

Después de meses de hacer delegaciones, manifestaciones en los EDRs, una gran votación para aprobar la huelga en el Thomas & Mack, y establecer la Sede de la Huelga, finalmente se llegó a Acuerdos Provisionales con las propiedades de MGM Resorts International y Caesars Entertainment. ¡SÍ SE PUDO!

STRIKE VOTE 2018
On May 22, tens of thousands of Culinary and Bartenders Union members showed up at Thomas and Mack and voted 99% to authorize a strike. Local faith leaders were present in solidarity with workers who voted over two sessions.
