The Culinary Union has been preparing to help thousands of people get one step closer to becoming a U.S. citizen. The union planned to host a citizenship fair at its headquarters on Saturday.

“It’s very, very important to fill out your paperwork right now,” the union’s secretary-treasurer, Geoconda Arguello-Kline said. “If you're a permanent resident, don't wait for many more years to be citizen.”
