Ericka Lopez moved from El Salvador to Las Vegas with her two children 18 years ago.

“Last night, I can't sleep. I feel worried, worried for my family, for me,” explained Lopez.

Lopez is now a mother of four. Two of her children are temporary protected status holders. The other two were born in the United States.

Lopez is one of 5,700 temporary protected status holders in Nevada now in limbo after the Department of Homeland Security told them their legal residency is ending.
