Democrats won a two-thirds supermajority in the Nevada Assembly by flipping District 35 in the southwest Las Vegas Valley, a seat formerly held by Republican Rebecca Edgeworth. Joe Spica, a Culinary Union member of 15 years, beat Edgeworth 58% to 42%.
