Culinary Union Pushes for November Bargaining
At an October 27, 2026, news conference at Culinary Union headquarters, secretary-treasurer Ted Pappageorge urged Station Casinos to move from litigation to negotiations.
He called on the company to “lay down the sword and pick up the pen” and accept proposed bargaining dates in November.
Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford and Democratic members of Congress Dina Titus, Steven Horsford, and Susie Lee joined the call for the company to comply and begin bargaining.
For the union, the length of the dispute is a central concern. Nearly seven years have passed since the 2019 election, and workers still do not have a first contract.
As of late-October reporting, bargaining had not begun, although the two sides were communicating.
