Strikers continue to demand better wages outside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on Christmas Day

As many spent the holiday with their loved ones, one group was busy on the picket line.

Wednesday marked the 41st day of strikes outside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

These strikers and the Culinary Union demand wages on par with Strip and Downtown properties.

They say they're willing to sacrifice their Christmas to spread their message.

"The holidays mean a lot to everybody. Our kids mean the most. So, like, right now we're on strike," said Isabel, a housekeeper on strike. "It's cold out here. But we wish we would spend more time with our family."
