Culinary Health Fund Re-Enrollment Dates to be extended

The Culinary Health Fund is extending re-enrollment dates into January. The period for re-enrollment began on December 3 and thus far over 12,000 participants have been processed at the union hall.

“This is an important process for participants. They are receiving information about changes to the plan that will begin in 2014. We are working tirelessly to make the process as smooth as possible,” said Kim Voss, Senior Director of Healthcare Network, Advocacy, and Communications at the Culinary Health Fund.

Geoconda Arguello-Kline, Secretary Treasurer of the Culinary Union Local 226 added, “Healthcare is tremendously important to our members. Re-enrollment is necessary to ensure participants and their dependents are receiving the healthcare benefits they have secured through bargaining.”

Re-enrollment will continue through December 21 at the union hall Monday thru Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm. Participants will also have an opportunity to re-enroll January 20-30 at Cashman Center Exhibit Hall A daily from 8am to 6pm including Sundays.

For more information, participants can call the Culinary Health Fund at (702) 733-9938. Participants can also visit us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CulinaryHealthFund.
