STATEMENT by Culinary Union Secretary-Treasurer Ted Pappageorge regarding Birthright Citizenship (14th Amendment):

As we celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary this week, we are pleased to see the Supreme Court reaffirm and protect our 14th Amendment Constitutional right to birthright citizenship.

While Nevada working families struggle to afford groceries, housing, healthcare, and gas, this administration supports policies that reduce tourism, raise prices, and attack our civil rights. Meanwhile, crickets from Governor Lombardo, who is missing in action and unwilling to stand up to the Trump agenda.

Culinary Union will fight for a fair economy and to protect our constitutional rights for all workers, immigrant or native born.

This country is off the rails and in this election year, we must fight to get it back on track.
