ICYMI: On MSNBC, Rosen Discusses Her Successful Passage of Her Bipartisan Bill to Eliminate Taxes on Tips

Senator Jacky Rosen   ·   Link to Article

Last night, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) joined The Weeknight on MSNBC to discuss how she was able to pass her bipartisan No Tax on Tips Act in the Senate. The bill, which Senator Rosen passed by unanimous consent, would exempt American workers’ tipped wages from federal income tax. It now heads to the U.S. House of Representatives to be considered. Nevada has the highest concentration of tipped workers in the nation, and the bipartisan No Tax on Tips Act would allow workers to keep their tips without having to pay federal income tax on them. This bipartisan legislation also includes guardrails to ensure that it benefits workers who need it most, not CEOs and the ultra-wealthy.
