UNLV history professor Michael Green looks back on Frontier Strike 30 years later

Culinary Union members who worked at the Frontier went on strike in September of 1991 and it lasted a whopping six years, four months, and ten days.

More than 500 workers maintained a 24-7 picket line and not one striker crossed the line.

The strike ended when the Frontier was sold and workers were able to return to work and were paid back pay and benefits.
