2018 CONTRACT FIGHTSETTLED: MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, Stratosphere, Four Seasons, Plaza, Tropicana, Westgate, Fremont, Main Street, Golden Nugget, Binions, Four Queens, SLS, and Downtown Grand have agreed to a 5-year contract with the highest economic package ever negotiated.
48,000 workers have contracts, but 5 properties and 2,400 workers remain.
Negotiations continue for: Treasure Island, Margaritaville, El Cortez, Golden Gate, and The D.

CONTRACT RATIFICATIONS
Congratulations to the workers at the Plaza, Fremont, Main Street, Binion’s, Four Queens, SLS, Westgate and Tropicana on ratifying their new contracts. Thousands of workers showed up and voted “YES” to ratify their new union contract. By voting “YES”, workers are guaranteeing their families’ future for the next 5 years.

A coalition consisting of the Culinary Union, The Citizenship Project, and UNITE HERE – the international hospitality worker’s union – assisted in the preparation of over 100 N-400 Citizenship applications in five hours on Saturday, August 25, 2018. 180 legal permanent residents and their families attended the free citizenship fair hosted at the Culinary Union.
