LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Culinary Workers Union Local 226 and Bartenders Union Local 165 held a “Workers’ Labor Day Rally” on Monday at the Sphere, coinciding with the opening weekend of the re-imagined Wizard of Oz show.

As many as 700 workers are negotiating with Sphere owners to unionize, marking a significant effort by the local culinary and bartenders unions to secure their first contract at the venue since it opened almost two years ago.
