The USC Trojans football team has been unable to change its accommodations amid an ongoing strike at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, according to the university.
Coaches and players have been staying at Virgin Hotels this week for the upcoming SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl, despite urges from the Culinary Union to leave the property.

"USC greatly values its longstanding relationship with our labor partners," the university said Friday. "We hope that this matter does not distract from an event that our student-athletes have worked very hard to prepare for."
The Culinary Union launched a hospitality worker strike and round-the-clock picket last month, saying Virgin Hotels leadership refuses to offer raises comparable to those negotiated with other resorts.
